Google Business Profile
UAE video verification (walkthrough prep, trade-license name match), primary category corrections, services, attributes, EN + AR profile fields, weekly posts. The profile is the ranking asset — we treat it like one.
Local SEO for Dubai businesses that live and die by the map pack: restaurants, clinics, salons, workshops, showrooms. We handle the parts most agencies skip — UAE video verification for your Google Business Profile, citations on Connect.ae and Yellowpages.ae, Arabic listings, and a review workflow your staff will actually follow. Q4 2025: +34% mid-week covers for a Downtown bistro, +41% job cards for a Business Bay workshop. From AED 1,990 a month.
Local SEO clients across every Dubai district.
The map pack runs on three things: proximity, relevance, prominence. You can't move your shop, so we work the other two — a properly verified Google Business Profile, a clean UAE citation footprint, steady reviews, and listings that exist in Arabic as well as English.

Connect.ae · Yellowpages.ae · Dubizzle · 2GIS · HiDubai + the directories specific to your trade. One spelling of your name, address and phone everywhere — including the Arabic rendering.
A review-ask workflow your front-of-house will actually run. Owner replies in EN + AR, flagging of fake one-stars, and Review schema so stars show where Google allows them.
LocalBusiness + Service JSON-LD, embedded map, driving directions from landmarks people actually use, hreflang ar-AE, and area pages for the districts you genuinely serve.
Geo-grid rank tracking across Dubai — your pin looks different from Marina than from Deira — plus links and mentions from UAE publications and community sites that build prominence.
"Best [service] near me" now gets answered by AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Maps' AI summaries. We structure your profile, FAQs and reviews so yours is the business getting quoted.
Client names withheld at their request · numbers from our own tracking · verifiable on a call.
Weekends filled themselves; Tuesday to Thursday didn't. We rebuilt the profile around dish-level searches [VERIFY: exact categories used], refreshed the photo sections in the order diners actually tap them [VERIFY], ran weekly offer posts timed to mid-week service, and cleaned two duplicate listings off Connect.ae and Yellowpages.ae. Every review answered inside 24 hours, EN + AR.
An independent workshop up against dealer service centres. We split the profile into service-specific categories [VERIFY: which], published before/after photo streams straight from the floor, moved the review ask to the handover moment, and built the Dubizzle and 2GIS listings the dealers never bother with. We counted job cards opened — not calls, not clicks.
Both clients asked us not to name them; the mechanics and numbers above come from our own tracking. Plus 60+ more Dubai-area clients across F&B, healthcare, real estate, and services. Walk through the raw dashboards on a discovery call →
We read every page ranking for "local SEO Dubai" before writing this one. Not one explains how UAE verification actually works, names a single UAE directory, or mentions Arabic listings. Local SEO is one lane of what Mediaupshift, our Dubai digital growth agency, runs — but it's the lane where UAE-specific knowledge earns its keep.
Google verifies most UAE profiles by video these days — postcards to a PO Box stopped being a thing here. You do a live walkthrough on your phone: outside signage, the door, the interior, equipment or stock, and something proving you can operate — a till, a branded vehicle, the trade license on the wall. Three things get Dubai profiles stuck: the GBP name doesn't match the trade license; the address is a flexi-desk with no signage; or someone "optimized" the name with keywords before verifying. We prep the walkthrough, match the profile to your license wording in English and Arabic, and when a profile is already suspended, we build the evidence pack — license, Ejari or tenancy contract, utility bill, storefront photos — and run the appeal.
A meaningful share of UAE local searches happen in Arabic, and Arabic queries don't mirror English ones — modifiers, word order, and intent all differ. What we actually do: fill the Arabic GBP fields properly, reply to Arabic reviews in Arabic, keep one agreed Arabic rendering of your name and street across every directory (there is more than one way to write "Sheikh Zayed Road" in Arabic, and directories have used most of them), and build ar-AE pages with hreflang where the search volume justifies it. When the Arabic pages themselves need writing, that's our bilingual content writing team — native editors, never machine translation.
Three inputs: proximity, relevance, prominence. Proximity you can't buy — a Deira pin will not surface in Marina, whatever an agency promises. Relevance is your primary category, services list, and profile completeness; most Dubai profiles we audit carry the wrong primary category. Prominence is reviews (count, velocity, recency, replies), local links and mentions, and branded search volume. We track all of it on a geo-grid — your ranking sampled from dozens of points across the city — because "we rank #2" means nothing until you ask: standing where? And when you need the organic results under the map as well, that hands off to our full SEO agency Dubai retainer.
Google's spam systems got much better at catching "plumber in JLT / plumber in JVC / plumber in…" template pages. We build area pages only where there's something real to put on them: jobs you've done in that district, photos from it, reviews that mention it, driving directions from a landmark people actually use. For service-area businesses we set the GBP service area honestly — around 30 minutes' driving, not "all UAE" — because an overreaching service area is one of the quiet reasons Dubai profiles underperform. The district cards further down this page are how we do it for ourselves.
Citation work in the UAE is mostly cleanup, not creation: a duplicate listing with the old phone number, the pre-move address still live on Yellowpages, an Arabic listing spelling the brand differently. We fix NAP to one canonical version — including the Arabic rendering — then build out the stack. Consistency beats volume; fifty messy listings hurt more than fifteen clean ones.
Local SEO fails when it's done out of order. Verification before optimization. Citations before links. Reviews forever.
GBP audit. Citation scan across the UAE stack. Review baseline. Geo-grid snapshot of where your pin shows today.
UAE video verification or suspension recovery. NAP cleanup. LocalBusiness + Service schema. Category corrections.
Citations placed EN + AR. Area pages for districts you serve. GBP services and products filled out. Photo pipeline started.
Review workflow live at the point of service. Owner replies daily, EN + AR. UAE-relevant local links and mentions.
Monthly geo-grid reports. Calls, directions and bookings from GBP insights. GSC for landing pages. Refresh cycles.
"Local SEO strategy brought our restaurant to top of Google Maps. Reservations from search increased massively"
"GMB optimization alone worth their fee. Our showroom getting walk-ins daily from Google search and maps"
Monthly retainers. Senior SEOs only. No outsourcing. 3-month minimum on Growth + Authority. The map pack compounds — we don't promise overnight pins.
For single-location Dubai businesses that need the map-pack basics done properly.
For crowded pins: F&B, clinics, salons, fitness, automotive.
For multi-location brands and franchises across Dubai and the UAE.
Retainers billed monthly · 3-month minimum on Growth & Authority · Setup fee waived on first month · Pricing benchmarked against 2026 Dubai agency rates
Our tiers: AED 1,990/mo (Starter · single location · GBP verification + optimization, UAE citations, review workflow), AED 4,990/mo (Growth · Arabic listings, area pages, local links), AED 9,990/mo (Authority · up to 10 locations, digital PR, AI/GEO). Dubai local SEO runs roughly AED 1,000-8,000/mo across the market; below AED 1,000 usually buys a reseller dashboard and little else.
Verification: days to two weeks if your documents are in order. Citations: 4-6 weeks to build and propagate. Pin movement: typically 6-12 weeks in competitive categories, faster where competition is thin. Nobody can promise a map-pack position — proximity alone decides some searches — so we report progress on a geo-grid instead of one flattering keyword.
Mostly by video now. A live walkthrough showing your signage, entrance, interior, and proof of operation — equipment, stock, your trade license. The profile name should match your license, and flexi-desks or virtual offices without signage usually fail. We prep clients for the recording so it passes the first time.
The core stack: Connect.ae, Yellowpages.ae, Dubizzle, 2GIS, HiDubai — then vertical directories like Zomato and Talabat for restaurants or Okadoc for clinics. Consistency matters more than count: identical name, address, and phone everywhere, including the Arabic spelling.
Yes. Arabic GBP fields, Arabic review replies, Arabic citations with one consistent NAP rendering, and ar-AE pages when the search volume justifies them. Arabic keywords are researched in Arabic, not translated from English.
Three inputs: proximity (how close the searcher is standing), relevance (your primary category, services, profile completeness), and prominence (review count, velocity, recency and replies, plus local links, mentions, and branded searches). You control two of the three. We work both.
Honestly, no. Proximity caps a single pin's reach — a Deira pin will not surface in Marina. Your options: an honest service-area setup, genuine area pages for districts you actually serve, or a second location when the economics justify it. We'll tell you which applies before you sign anything.
No paid reviews, no incentives, no gating (filtering out unhappy customers first). What works is timing: an ask at the moment of a happy handover — a QR card with the finished job, a follow-up message the same evening. Then the owner replies to every review, in the language it was written in.
Usually, yes. UAE suspensions typically follow address edits, keyword-stuffed profile names, or category changes. We compile the evidence pack — trade license, tenancy contract or Ejari, utility bill, storefront photos — and file the appeal. Timelines vary from days to a few weeks, and we don't touch anything else on the profile until it's back.
Local SEO gets you into the map pack and "near me" results: Google Business Profile, citations, reviews, area pages. Our SEO agency Dubai retainer covers the organic results underneath the map — content, links, technical. Businesses with a storefront usually start local; most add organic within a quarter.
A 30-minute discovery call. Before it, we run a geo-grid scan around your location, audit your Google Business Profile, and check your citations across the UAE stack. You get the findings either way — plus a 90-day plan and fixed-price proposal within 24 hours.
